Just a word about the winning photo, Is it in rain as it states, as to me it looks like a black cloud and not rain, other than that it's quite a good photo, but not that I would have chose it, I would have chose Ken gourds photo, as apart from mine its the only one in rain

Weather or not (pun intended) ;D it was taken in the rain that is a stunning picture Barry and one that i would have been proud to have taken myself.
I had Saturday only tickets for Fairford but of course as the tattoo was completely cancelled due to the abysmal weather i did not attend at all and only just yesterday received my ticket refund cheque in the post.
Congratulations.

This month's winner "wasn't taken in the rain" and last month's winner was "air-to-air". We've already discussed last month's effort so I won't dwell on it. The theme wasn't 'Rain' is was 'Bad Weather' and to be honest it showed it off to a treat. Your's and Ken's were aircraft in the rain but they seemed to lack the excitment of the winning entry.

I think the black sky in Barry's winning photo qualifies it as a 'bad weather' photograph. I would be surprised if it hadn't been raining with the sky that dark. It just goes to show that you can still get a decent photo without having a blue sky. I also really like Steve Gardner's winning photo from the last 'bad weather' photo-comp at: www.militaryairshows.net/photocomp/oct04/photcomp.htmDave
