RAW compressed which is about half size file compared to RAW on my camera. I did try full RAW for a short time recently but found my computer being old took too long to process them. Not likely to upgrade computer this year so will stick to compressed RAW for a while yet. If I want something in a hurry I use jpg and not usually aviation related.

I experimented with RAW & JPG at the Duxford Spring Airshow but have since decided that i will shoot JPG only. RAW eats memory cards and if you get the exposure right in the first place then is it really needed? Maybe i'll give it a go again some other time.
Updating my shooting, I'm gravitating towards only shooting RAW. tried it at Duxford spring show this year, and it worked fine for me. I like having the options that RAW gives me when converting, as I can possible pull back a not so good pic in PP, and also do all PP work on 8 bit TIFF and only drop back to JPG for putting on web. That's what I'm doing at present, but it may all change in future.
