Organised by Sunderland City Council, the airshow is now in its 24th year and widely recognised as one of the largest free events of its kind.
With breathtaking display teams and precision flying in the air and a massive choice of activities on the ground, there's something for all the family, and the aviation enthusiast alike, at this FREE action-packed weekend.
On Friday 20 July - 7pm until 10 pm an opening event will get the weekend off to a flying start, thrilling the crowds with live music from XFactor's The Risk and The Counterfeit Sixties, stunning fireworks and an enchanting night flight display by the SWIP Twister Duo Display Team.
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July - 10am until 6pm will see the coastline at Seaburn and Roker in Sunderland filled with the sights and sounds of the spectacular Sunderland International Airshow. There's a packed programme of entertainment in the skies and on the ground, including RAF Falcons, The Red Arrows and lots more...!
